Healing Center Vision
Our vision is to co-create a healing retreat centre and offer holistic wellness services. It’s rooted on land where we offer workshops, retreats, and an acupuncture clinic.
It is immersed within a small intentional community, likely in the Slocan valley in the Kootenay mountains of BC, Canada.
We also grow and make herbal medicine, and one day we will host people to stay on the land for multi day retreats, as well as offer meals that are gathered entirely from the land.
The Heart Radiance vision is the synthesis of Thomas’ life journey and the deepest offerings of his being.
The truest expression and deepest desires of Heart Radiance is sharing about reclaiming and developing a personal relationship with creation and the great forces that sway our lives. We seek to support exploring consciousness and what it is to be fully alive as a human being, vital, and connected.
We believe that the deepest wounds, pain, and suffering we all feel in this modern age are most rooted in a massive disconnection and separation from being in deep relationship with nature and life in a felt and lived way. It’s our entire way of life that is the issue, and it really needs healing!
Acupuncture treatments, or any other service only go so far. We deeply dream to offer guidance in healing our personal and collective wounds by offering a container to come together in community and return to a felt and lived expression of connection and love. We may begin to heal the deepest source of our modern suffering by personally reconnecting to creation from a place of reverence and gratitude and joy.
Specifically we want to support reconnecting to the land and to the Earth by cultivating plant allies and herbal medicine knowledge, and offering sacred ceremony and ritual teachings. Guiding an exploration of ancestral wisdom teachings that help form a framework for directly being in connection to life and infusing our lives with meaning, purpose, and interconnection interdependence to all things.
We dream to be in service to life and to our community, and the healing centre serves as a living expression of resilience and sustainability. It’s an experience that is more than just wellness services in a beautiful place, but rather a healing invitation that is integrated into an immersive and empowering experience that helps really explore the feeling of what it is to be connected to the Earth and to life.
It’s the vitality and aliveness of nature and creation that is the felt inspiration we hope to share with others, to foster a new story of abundance and connection, over the old story of separation.
Workshops, Courses, & Retreats
We look forward to teaching our community about holistic plant medicine through workshops such as plant essence meditations, herbal medicine basics, and holistic medicine foundations. We will offer educational medicinal herb walks, dinners straight from the garden, a beautiful music and movement space, and much more. Workshops empower land based living skills and opportunities for nature connection
The larger vision is to offer longer more immersive plant spirit connection and sacred life alignment apprenticeship programs that are rooted in nature, teachings synthesized from ancestral wisdom traditions and our own experiences. We hold multiple day immersive healing retreats with little places to stay nested in the forest. It is an experience to empower your healing journey and nourish your own source connection.
Until this land based healing center is born, we hold these values in every step, embodying these intentions through our commitment to being in service and through truly compassionate care.
